My husband and I came and met Mrs Fey for a tour around the school this morning. I came away feeling really inspired and totally excited about the prospect of my little boy attending Elmlea in 2009. The school is lovely and has a great atmosphere (and importantly the children were very polite!) Mrs Fey is clearly doing a great job

Hi,

The web-site looks great!

This comment is really directed to the PTA to possibly raise some extra cash. Have you considered producing an Elmlea calendar with pictures of the classes (or possibly artwork) for each month of the year. I've seen calendars produced by other schools, so just wondered if Elmlea had considered this.

Regards,
Jamie

Just reading up a little bit more about the school before my visit/tour of Elmlea in ten hrs. Website is very informative and laid out in a very easy to follow and user friendly format. If the visit shows the school to be as nice as it seems and as i ve heard....i just hope i get a place for my son in 2008. Regards

Hey i started Elmlea 1998 and went all through till 2005 year 6 had many good times and When i was there in Infants headteacher was Mrs Kelly! wow she was strict. When the bell rang on the last day of year six i knew that The votes had been counted and verified and i had been evicted from the Big Elmlea House!

I think the website is fantastic and particularly enjoyed the pictures of this years fair. It was a great day which everyone enjoyed. As the departing chair of the PTA, I think the whole ethos of the school is great. We have great fun (the children as well as those of us on the PTA!). Come along next year and see for yourself. The most recent newsletters will be added to the website shortly!

Just seeing if you still existed!, I started school at Elmlea in 1970 and remember vividly the pride the then headteacher Miss Lord had in her brand new school.
Great website!

It would be useful to have the term dates for 2007-08 on your website for parents of those children starting in September.

Having been to the school over 20 years ago, I have very fond memories of it. It is a wonderful place and started off my love of Maths. I am now a teacher myself and really appreciate all that was done for me during my time there. Thank you.

I am trying to collate any information about the Elmlea Schools' roundabout which has it's annual outing at the Summer Fair.
Does anyone know how the schools acquired it? How old is it? Does anyone have knowledge of carousal restoration? Any answers gratefully received by Katie Montague c/of Elmlea Infants' School office or via this Guest book.

This site is great! It is so easy to navigate through all that you would want to find out. I think the availability to take a virtual tour of the school, or some of the classrooms at least, would be a good addition to the site as well as some pictures of children 'learning, achieveing and understanding'.
